If you check this box, the login account for
the protected area using the values defined in the boxes Login
ID to Use and Login
Password to Use will never be changed during normal operations for this
member.
Example:
Let's say the member account Jim23
has access a protected area. His login information is set as:
Login ID To Use: Jim23
Login Password to Use: happyguy
If you check this box, and the Jim23 changes
his member account password to unhappyguy, his login to the protected
area will continue to be happyguy. It will not be changed.
If you change the value in the box Login ID
To Use and you do not want to delete access to the password protected for
the ID that was previously defined, check this box.
Example:
Let's say the member account Jim23 has access a protected area. His
login information is set as:
Login ID To Use: Jim23
Login Password to Use: happyguy
You now want to change Jim23's access to the
protected area using a login ID and Password such as:
Login ID To Use: Jim24
Login Password to Use: happyguy
If you want to remove access to the protected
area using the login username Jim23 altogether, do not check this box.
AccountHandler will remove the login username and password related to Jim23
for this protected area. A login attempt for this protected area using Jim23
will fail since it has been removed.
If you check the box for this option, the
access to the protected section using Jim23 will not be removed and
will remain active and working. A login into the protected area can still be
accomplished using the login username Jim23 and password happyguy.
